Towards the Sun

A spring theory for poetry

E1

Onceuponatime,

the bright happening illuminated the Sun

and pushed the Moon to go round the Earth.

The Earth in the spinning frenzy gathered light and water.

In the mix,

Goddesses Chlorophyll and Haemoglobin were born!

And everyone lived happily ever after.

Diiiiid they?!

[Rituals in Green and Red – Aug.13/11]

E2

The first drop of water on Earth.

A tiny promise for a spinning blue and green Life.

Billions of years later, every night I reap the stars in my basket.

When I land on Earth, I burn dreams and hands in their glorious brightness.

I wash my face and go to sleep.

Every morning the Sun rises beyond your eyelashes.

Your eyelids wet like heavy blankets, cover shredded shadows.

Their true dimension bleeds; it floods and mutes existence to silence.

Silence that would have spoken in light.

Venus brings youth and lust.

Mercury takes it all away for others too, must experience.

Jupiter brings your body, your lips and other Cupids all infatuating strangers.

Saturn brings wood and fire to burn and, water to wash away the sorrow that is left by Uranus when he alienates perception and dilutes existence.

Mars brings spectacular sunsets and even more unforgettable breaths filled with compost and dust, making a prolific mortar-dough.

Earth ties it all together in Life.

We belong and stay bound to her but she lets us free to experience salvation from Neptune’s silence.

Pluto doesn’t bring anything but an urge to wandering further away always seeking for more.

E4

A herd of hippos basking in the Sun and immersed in water

are not waiting for a surprise.

Waters and oils have been carving their insides for millions of years.

Little do they know this will be their last dive.

When they emerge again they will have become whales.

[Trans-Hippos – Oct.09/12]

E5

Cells and stars shine of Life.

They share an invisible language in their luminosity.

When we start sensing it, we will have set a step to understanding eternity.

Three steps further along the way it will become clear eternity is also finite.

I am sorry but I can’t promise a story of 1001 endorphins.

Protocol 1:

First There Was Dark.

Anything occurred for at least a single coincidence.

Blood spilled everywhere.

Coincidence became Grandmother.

A pearl lost in a cosmic ocean.

The Earth!

A giant rotating egg fertilised repeatedly by celestial sperm;

comets, asteroids and the unlikely brethren

Protocol 2:

I am neither interested in life that bubbles out

of a beer can nor a champagne glass but

extremely fascinated by Life in the test tube called Earth.

Nature became Mother.

Protocol 3:

A scientist reported: “it is blasphemy murdering a poem”.

[Test tube – Nov.07/12]
